(More customer reviews)My son is four and a half and was introduced to the Voltron series via DVD. It was his very first toy craze and all we heard about for months was how he wanted Voltron toys. The description says the plastic is durable but it is not. We kept the shield, sword and wings in the box since they were so sharp. We showed our son how to form Voltron and break it down into the lions and he was able to do it after two demonstrations; much faster than the adults in our household. We showed him where the weak points were, "oh, Lance's legs, got it" he said. Two hours of playing with Voltron on Christmas morning were all he got. The Voltron fell from a height of 19 inches (a cat knocked it off a short chair while I was watching) and both the legs broke off. This is completely ridiculous for the amount of money spent. Let's hope Super Glue lives up to it's marketing better than this toy.

Hot Wheels® Blast And Crash™ Track Set Review

(More customer reviews)My 4-year-old son LOVES this race track. He has the cars flying through the track over and over. It's taken a beating being hauled from room to room and being pulled apart by our young twins -- and the track still works great.
The problem the other reviews may be having is that "track stars" or "track aces" hotwheel cars need to be used with all the hotwheels tracks. When buying individual hotwheels cars the front side of the package states the type of car it is. Some will state "code cars", "2007 models", etc. I didn't really notice that until I realized that we needed to use only the "track" cars. When using any other hotwheels car they usually don't make it around the loop as the other reviews state. But with the "track" cars everything has worked perfect for us. Wing Saber is the the toy that is not much fun on his own, but he is GREAT when combined with Optimus Prime. Don't bother getting him if you don't have Prime, but if you do, then you NEED Wing Saber

ASTRO BOY INTERACTIVE ASTRO LIGHTS & SOUNDS Review

(More customer reviews)When I was a child back in the 70s we (siblings) would turn the tv to watch the Asto Boy cartoons if we could get my grammy to fall asleep during the soaps. The doll looks like the cartoon series but with some of the ejection parts on his arm popping off you would have to be careful with a smaller child playing with it. The body is plastic and it has interactive sounds, blinking lights, chest opens with heart, fire light shoots from the bottom of boots, it probably wouldn't be good for the pounding of rambunctious kids but for light play or decorative display would work. Otherwise, its a nice piece of retro.

Motor Movers Monkey on a String from LEGO Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great toy, like all Legos. The motor seems nicely versatile, usable in as many ways as a kid can think up.
I'm writing this review because I note in the Amazon Editorial Review that the reviewer says "...and a fish (that really swims in water!) were just some of the things you can make."
Because of this, we used our fish model in water and after a couple tries the motor became waterlogged and quit working. After a day of drying out, it started working again, thankfully.
I just got an email from Lego Tech Support verifying that the motor should not be used in water.
I had my suspicions because the User Manual has icons showing "no water" whenever they depict the fish but the Editorial Review here said you could. Only now do I realize (upon a second reading) that Amazon's blurb is not an official toy company description but just an Amazon in-house review perhaps.
At any rate, don't put the motor in water.

(More customer reviews)The Gabba Gabba Muno toy arrived on time and in mint condition but for what I paid for it I expected no less. I believe this toy company to have some of the best and hard to find toys on the market today. It's ashamed that instead of these toys being available everywhere that they have to over inflate the price in order to make money during the recession. That being said, the toy was fun, durable, and a great educational toy for any one who has a child that loves Gabba Gabba. I give it a four star rating. No one's perfect.
