(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my son nearly 2 years ago when he turned 5. He had seen it in a catalog & thought it was the greatest.
He kept it in its very retro-looking box under his bed with all his treasures. Very rarely did he get it out & wind it up.
Just recently, it stopped working. It must have gotten over-wound.
This is a very touchy item. It's easy to break, so be prepared.
It's still cool-looking, though. My son still likes it.
I agree that this is a good thing to put up on the shelf & look at (if you like that sort of thing), but don't expect to really play with it.
