There is a pressure switch on Robbies side to activate him.
When activated, the chest plate lights up along with the mouth of the robot. The head has no lights in it.
As a collectors Item it is a must have.
The cons:
This thing is tiny, Just like the description says, it is an ornament to be hung from a christmas tree.
It even has a hook loop comming out of it's head (something I failed to notice in the images). At 4 1/2" tall it originally sold for less than $20 when it was released by Halmark in 2009.
Prices have risen to ridiculous amounts, over $70 dollars in some places. If you are buying this as a collectors item you need to move quick.
If you are looking to buy something to use as a toy, I would pass on this because of the small size and excessive cost factor. Get the polar lights model kit instead it is three times as large, for around $20
No lights or sound in the model kit but very highly detailed.
