(More customer reviews)My son's grandmother bought this toy as a souvenir (of the Seattle space needle). At the time, I don't think any of us had high expectations for it. But something about this toy quickly made it one of my 4yo son's favorite things. The box is small and made of sturdy plastic, so he brings it with him whenever he needs something to do (i.e. airplanes or doctor's office waiting room). The instructions come with a list of robots you can make, but more often my son just puts together whatever crazy robot he can think of --- it is great for little builders who want to get creative. Each creation seems to take on a personality of its own.
The pieces are really very small, and it is easy to lose the smallest parts --- but the manufacturer thought of this, and included plenty of spares. My ONLY complaint about he durability of the toy is that the clasp on the box itself broke the first time we opened it --- we keep in closed with rubber bands instead.
It is getting hard to find this toy anywhere --- I'm sad to see it go.
