(More customer reviews)When I saw this die-cast M-O online, I thought it would be the same quality as the die-cast Thomas Trains. I was a little disappointed when M-O arrived. The head, neck, & "backpack" appear to be plastic, which gives it a cheap feel. It comes with a little plastic ring stand, which I've lost, because it can't stand up on it's own. The arms can move forward & backward, & the black part of the roller M-O holds can turn. If you're thinking of getting this for your child, our 3-year old likes to play with our M-O (hence 5 stars for fun) & understands to be careful, so ours is still in perfect shape. However, I don't know if M-O could withstand really rough play. I do give it 4 stars for durability, because it has withstood our child's play & being dropped on the carpet. I don't know that it's really educational, except it may be helpful for hand coordination (moving the arms & roller) in small children & good for their imaginations. When I bought it, it was about $5; now it's about $3, which is a bargain. It is a rather cute figurine/toy.
