(More customer reviews)When I heard about the Adult Swim figures, I immediately set about trying to find my favorites, one of which was the Monarch figure.
The figure itself is very well done & detailed. The wings on the back & the symbol on the chest are the best indicators of this. Many times with mass produced figures you'll see signs that they were ran through rather quickly & the paint will be the biggest sign of this with it running over lines & such. While there are some uber small details that weren't done exactly as they should, you must remember that these aren't hand painted & that they are only about an inch or two in height. If they were hand painted, they would cost more. (So no complaining about how certain parts aren't perfect!)
The only big complaint I have is that the model doesn't stand up well on it's own, so I have to brace it against something. On a very stable surface, it does very well. Unfortunately if you put it on anything that might vibrate or move, it will fall over. (I found this out when I put it on a display case, which tends to move occasionally if I close my bedroom door too hard.)
For the price, you can't beat this. Since the figures were released blind box, there's no telling who you'd get if you were to try to track down the figure by itself.
