(More customer reviews)I should start by saying that I am a very picky toy buyer and owner. But this toy is AWESOME! He is so funny when he answers your questions by shaking his head and saying "Uh-uh." He is just plain fun! We got this for Christmas last year and still play with it at least once or twice a week...all of us! I have to assume the other reviews about the bad skin are due to a bad production batch from Mattel. I'd say keep looking.
A couple of cautions: Read the directions. You have to use him correctly to make him work. Also, this is not a toy for little ones because he is a little scary, and the skin is stitched together in various areas. While this contributes to the flexible and realistic look, it also does add a dimension of fragility. If your child will be rough with him, DRex may not be the best choice.
