(More customer reviews)Just got the kit and already I'm impressed! I haven't even built the kit and I can see the extensive amount of detail that goes in to the building of this model. The eyes are visable in Unicorn mode, if you use the foil stickers. This is an awesome detail that can be easily overlooked. Also as I build this, Its like there's still the MG skeleton that's common to MG kits however, the Psycoframe peices incorporate themselves around in this complex dance....type...thingy. This kit also comes with two different types of horns. One set opens as you transform to Destroy mode. There is another spare horn/antenna that is fixed in the open position.
I have finished all but the decals, and it is truly a sight to behold. The transformation is not the easiest, as some parts either fall off or get stuck, namely the front skirt pieces and the Shoulder pieces. but it is really spectacular. You can choose not to paint it, but adding panel lines with one of the gundam pens or a really fine pen will bring out spectacular details and add to its brilliance. It holds its balance well, however an action base will make posing that much better. and as an added bonus you can attatch the action base to the cage for even more dramatic poses!
Now for some cons I have found through the process. This HD peices are a little softer than what's normally used. Take extra care if you're not used to it. The cockpit only shows the legs of the pilot. Even if you could see more of the cockpit, the pink/red tint gives a glare. Also, the horns that open and shut can and do get stuck (I think that's why they supply spares) I just got mine together and when trying to close, they broke with no real pressure applied. Like with me, if you're seriously into Gundam models/Gunpla you will be impressed when you open this box. Once its built you will be in love. If you are just getting into MG Gundams, get a few under your belt first. This one is tricky, but is rewarding with each part you finish.
