(More customer reviews)Having been a bit too young (and born on the wrong side of the globe) when Takara first released them in 1975, I was very happy to track down and finally purchase a replica Microman Robotman. Overall, Robotman is a great piece of plastic with some pretty neat features. His chest cockpit holds a Microman figure, his silver hands can grasp things, and he can be converted into a tank for battle over rough terrain! In tank mode, though, the motorized feature is a bit rough (it sounds awful and doesn't propel the vehicle forward very fast or with any accuracy) and the treads do not stay on for very long. I also had problems with the stickers peeling up, but that, I believe, is due more to the time these guys have spent boxed up on shelves (they were released in 2001). All said, do not be dissuaded from this fine product from Takara! Robotman is a necessary ally in any miniature battle against the evil Acroyears! How can your Microman collection be complete without Robotman!?
