(More customer reviews)If you were to look at this toy through the eyes of a kid, it's pretty cool, provided you are enamored with the Robots characters the way my son is. However, when you look at this toy through some critical lenses, it needs quite a bit of work.
Here are the problems with this toy:
1. Pieces don't really like to stay together. The individual pieces that must be put onto the toy frequently fall off because the parts that hold them on aren't sturdy enough to keep them on.
2. Too gadgety. The toy tried too hard to keep the theme of Robot city and then in the process created a toy that is full of add ons that aren't really necessary.
3. Even though the box says it's interchangeable with the other Robots characters, it really isn't all that interchangeable. The chop shop comes with Fender, which works just fine with it. However, if you try to use Rodney or Rachet with the toy, they aren't sized properly to make the pieces work the way they are supposed to work.
All in all, if your child is a Robots fanatic, find a different toy and save yourself and your child some frustration and disappointment.
